**Two big major Pitt recruiting targets will be in State College this weekend. Both Belle Vernon’s  Blake Zubovic and Aliquippa’s Kwantel Raines will attend Penn State’s Spring Game on Saturday.

    Good morning, big Pitt fan here. As a fan, should we be concerned that we are sitting here, in mid-April, with only 1 verbal commit for the 2018 recruiting cycle? I mean, Penn State is destroying Pitt for local and national recruits. All of the other schools seem to be doing fairly well to this point and we have 1 verbal. Is there something going on that the fanbase isn’t aware of?

      Thx Sean for the comment. To answer your question, no, there’s nothing to worry about. As you mentioned, it’s mid-April and Letter of Intent is February. LONG ways away.

        Mike, thanks for the quick response! You certainly do not see that too often on sites like yours. I completely understand the timeline that you mentioned, however some of the big powerhouse schools are comfortably sitting at 10+ verbals in April. That is a little discouraging. I hope you are right and do have faith in Narduzzi as he pulled 2 prime recruits on NSD this past year!
