Cameron O’Neil Commits to Pitt

Cameron O’Neil Commits to Pitt

For the past month, Alabama wide receiver Cameron O’Neil has been shy about talking about how much he liked the Pitt football program.

Today, O’Neil showed how much he liked them by giving Pat Narduzzi and Pitt a verbal commitment.

The talented wide receiver becomes the Panthers 12th verbal commitment in the Class of 2018 and their first commitment from a wide receiver.

Alabama is the sixth state in which Pitt has landed a recruit from in this recruiting class (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts and Alabama).

Aside from Pitt, O’Neil also held offers from Virginia, Wisconsin and Illinois. In the end, O’Neil selected Pitt over Virginia. WR coach Kevin Sherman played a big role in Pitt landing O’Neil.
