Duquesne Gets Commitment From Amari Kelly

The Duquesne Dukes wrapped up their 2018 recruiting class by adding more size to their front court.

Late this afternoon, power forward Amari Kelly gave Keith Dambrot and his program a verbal commitment.

Kelly (6-foot-9, 225 pounds) is from Meadowcreek High School in Snellville, Georgia and held offers from East Carolina, New Orleans, UMass, UTEP, Northeastern, Florida Gulf Coast, LaSalle, Murray State, Detroit and Cleveland State.

Kelly was in Pittsburgh last weekend for an official visit and attended Duquesne’s first practice on Sunday. One of the big things that made a positive impression on Kelly was Dambrot and his plan for the future.

Kelly is the 5th commitment that Duquesne has received for their recruiting Class of 2018.

Amari Kelly, PF (6-9, 225), Georgia
Brandon Wade, PG (6-1, 175), Michigan
Austin Rotroff, PF (6-9, 205), Ohio
Gavin Bizeau, C  (6-11, 215), Indiana
