For the second time today, the Pitt coaching staff has met with someone from the Central Catholic football team.

Earlier today, Pitt assistants Josh Conklin, Rob Harley and Renaldo Hill met with Pitt commits Rashard Wheeler and Bricen Garner at the high school.

This evening, Conklin and Harley were at the home of 2016 prized recruit cornerback Damar Hamlin.

The best and most important news of the night is the update on Hamlin’s knee.

He told me thru direct message that “my knee is good.”

Now that his knee is good, I’m sure Pitt fans want to know if the in home visit with Pitt was also good.

Since Hamlin knows  the Pitt coaches so well, I asked him if their was something him and his family wanted to hear from the Pitt coaches tonight.

“Not really, we feel like we have a pretty good feel for them already”, said Hamlin.

Hamlin admitted that when he eventually makes his final decision, it’s going to be really difficult for him personally.

“Honestly, it’s going to be extremely hard, just because of the relationships I have with all of them”, said Hamlin.

Hamlin didn’t get into who his leader was but did tell me that he “possibly” make his decision before Christmas.
