Tyler Boyd is a lock to enter the 2016 NFL Draft so Pitt will need play makers for next year’s team.
They’ll have Dontez Ford returning plus incoming 4-star wideout Ruben Flowers but are still looking for more. Today they met with someone that could be an immediate help.
Wide receivers coach Kevin Sherman went to Coffeyville C.C. to visit with Juwann Winfree.

Winfree is playing for the Coffeyville after leaving Maryland last year. He would be eligible to play next season for Pitt. This season, Winfree caught 55 passes for 837 yards and 7 TD’s.
Winfree (6-2, 210) told me that he’s down to a final 3 of: Pitt, Colorado and East Carolina and that he’ll be making an official visit to Pitt on December 11th.
“I’m a big wide receiver that can have multiple roles. I have good hands, run good routes and can move with the ball in my hands. I’m just a play maker.”
Winfree is a play maker that I think will take his talents to Pitt. I’d be shocked if he picked anyone but the Panthers.
