Pitt Visits With Hudson

Aside from Damar Hamlin, their isn’t a recruit that Pitt fans talk about more than McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson.

“Where is Hudson going?,  Is Pitt in Hudson’s top 2,  Will Hudson pick Pitt?”  I hear those questions all the time.

This whole recruiting process is probably cool and not so cool for Hudson.

“I’m handling the process good. My reaction to people on Twitter is nothing”, said Hudson. “I actually think some of the stuff that fans argue about is funny.”

Enough about that,  Pitt fans want to know how  did his in-home visit with defensive coordinator Josh Conklin and cornerback coach Renaldo Hill go?

Hudson said the visit went well. Today, not only were the coaches recruiting Hudson, they talked a lot with Hudson’s mother.

“They really wanted to talk to my mother and me also, but mostly my mother.  They talked to her about the campus and how things will go if I go there and how it’s a family at Pitt”, said Hudson.

I asked Hudson what point (s) Pitt is using to recruit him.   He told me, “that I’ll be playing both side of the ball.”

Hudson is capable of playing either safety of running back in college. I’m guessing Pitt can show him Jordan Whitehead’s highlight film from this season.

For those looking for Hudson to make a college decision soon, I don’t think that’s going to be happening.  That’s because Hudson gave me dates for official visits.

HUDSON’S OFFICIAL  VISITS
UCLA-  December 11-13
Michigan- January 15-17
Penn State- January 22-24
Wisconsin- January 29-31

Is it bad for Pitt that Hudson isn’t taking an official visit? Here’s what Hudson said- “Just cause you don’t take an official doesn’t mean your not interested !”
