Pitt FB Recruiting

Anderson To Visit Pitt

Theo Anderson is a player Pitt fans have been hearing about since the summer.

Anderson (5-11, 221) is a fullback from Largo, Florida. Back in July, Anderson made a visit to Pitt and loved the city and campus.

In fact, he announced that he was going to decide on a college in August. Anderson then canceled that press conference and has been fairly quiet since.

This morning I caught up with Anderson to see where his recruitment stands and if Pitt is still an option.

“Nothing went wrong with Pitt, I’ve been communicating with them this entire time”, said Anderson.

A couple weeks ago when Pitt coaches were in the Tampa area. So, is Anderson still high on Pitt?

“They stand very high on my list. I love Pitt!”, said Anderson. “I’m making an official visit in January.”

To this point, the only official visit that Anderson’s made was to Cincinnati. He’s also made an unofficial visit to Central Florida.

Fullback is a position of need for Pitt, so Anderson would be a good get. Plus, he’d be another recruit from Florida.

We’ll continue to keep in contact with Florida fullback Theo Anderson.
