Tonight one of the top players from the WPIAL’s Class of 2017 announced his Top 8 schools.
Beaver Falls defensive tackle Donovan Jeter made the announcement tonight on Twitter. Afterwards, I talked to Jeter about those schools.
Here’s Jeter’s Top 8 and the reason each of the schools made his list.

Ohio State- “because they’re always good and are the defending champions”
Penn State- “because of the schools great tradition”
Pitt- “because they’re close to home and because I love Coach Narduzzi”
UCLA- “great football team, great city to live in”
Tennessee- “because I have a great relationship with the coaches”
Michigan State- “because they’re good every year”
West Virginia- “because they’re close to home”
Wisconsin- “because JJ Watt went there”
