Pitt is involved with another player that’s decommited from his original choice.
Tyrone Hill is a cornerback from Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, New Jersey).

Yesterday, Hill made this announcement on Twitter:
“I’ve talked with my family, friends and coaches. After giving this much thought and consideration I will be taking back my verbal commitment to Maryland. I will be taking my visits to schools and will only talk to coaches and schools who are recruiting me,”
One of those schools is Pitt so this afternoon I talked with Hill.
“I decommited from Maryland because it wasn’t the best place for me and my family and because of the coaching staff change”, said Hill.
Hill tells me that most schools are recruiting him as s cornerback and that his strength is being a press corner that’s very physical with receivers.
What about Pat Narduzzi and Pitt?
“Pitt has been keeping with me since the beginning of my recruitment”, said Hill. “I really love Pitt, it’s a great school with a great atmosphere.”
Pitt’s been in touch with Hill recently and have been recruiting him like this.
“The most recent thing they said to me is that they love me as a player and as a person. They want me to play corner for them.”
In the last week, Pitt has received commitments from 2 New Jersey players (Phil Campbell and Justin Morgan), which is something Hill has noticed.
“I find it exciting how some New Jersey kids committed”, said Hill. “It would feel great playing with those guys knowing we are from the same state.”
“The thing that I find most interesting about Pitt is the old tradition.”
So, will Hill make an official visit to Pitt?
“Yes, I have my official visit set for January 15.” Hill finished up by telling me that “I plan on committing soon, maybe in the next couple of weeks, I’m not sure but very soon!”
Will it be to Pitt?
