In October, Jo-El Shaw committed to Western Michigan. However, his position coach left Western Michigan to join Dino Babers to Syracuse.
Not surprisingly, Shaw (6-1, 230) had second thoughts and now is no longer committed to Western Michigan.
“The coaches that recruited me left and I didn’t want to start up new relationships”, said Shaw. Former WM RB coach Mike Hart was someone that Shaw was close with and a big reason he committed.
Now with a month left, Shaw is back on the open market and once again looking for a school.
So what’s next for the talented running back from Woodland Hills?
Shaw tells me that he plans on visiting Tennessee,Temple and Indiana or Kansas.
“I have offers from Kansas and Temple and Tennessee and Indiana both said there going to offer me”, said Shaw. “They told me to wait until after the dead period. So basically I do have the offers from those two schools.”
Shaw rushed for 1,274 yards and 22 touchdowns this past fall season for Woodland Hills.
