Add the name Cam Ingram to the list of recruits making an official visit to Pitt this weekend.
Ingram (6-2,205) is a pro-style quarterback from Hubbard, Ohio.
From what I’m being told, it’s unsure whether Pitt is recruiting him to play quarterback or just as an athlete. What is certain, is that Ingram will make an official visit to Pitt on Friday.
Also told that head coach Pat Narduzzi is the person speaking most to Ingram.
As of today, Ingram doesn’t have any offers from Power 5 conference schools.
Since Pitt has limited scholarships available, here’s a possible scenario: Ingram joins the Panthers as preferred walk-on in 2016 and gets a scholarship for 2017.
Ingram has ties to the current Pitt football team and also to the city of Pittsburgh.
The quarterback is good friends with current Pitt running back Darin Hall and is teammates with incoming 4-star recruit George Hill. Ingram also has family from the Penn Hills area.
