A source tells me Pittsburgh Sports Now that it’s very likely the NCAA will grant Pitt defensive end Ejuan Price a 6th year of eligibility. This news isn’t official but I’m told that this will be the likely outcome.
Price (6-0) was able to stay away from injuries which allowed him to have a monster season for Pitt. Price was named to the ACC 1st team defense and led Pitt with 11.5 sacks. That sack total ranked Price 5th in the entire FBS.
If Price does return, Pat Narduzzi will have big-time talent at the defensive end spot: Price, Dewayne Hendrix, Rori Blair, Shakir Soto, Allen Edwards and Zack Gilbert.
