*Check back throughout the day for updates:

**Was informed of a change of plans for Rob Harley. Andre Powell will now visit VA WR K’Von Wallace today instead of Harley.

**OL Coach John Peterson will join new OC Matt Canada visiting Thomas MacVittie and WR Ruben Flowers in Ohio.

UPDATE 9:15 AM
**New recruit has entered the picture for Pitt and he’s a good one. Adam Freidman from Rivals says that Pitt coaches will visit 4-star DE Karamo Dioubate from Philadelphia. Last week Dioubate de-committed from Penn State. Freidman also says that both Penn State and Michigan St will visit Dioubate too.

UPDATE 10:09 AM
**Woodland Hills 5-star RB Miles Sanders will be visited today by both Penn State and Michigan State. Trying to see if Pitt coaches are coming.

UPDATE 10:26 AM
**Was informed that Pitt coaches will be visiting 2017 Central Catholic LB David Adams today. From what I understand, Penn State will be in tomorrow. Very important recruit for Pitt.

UPDATE 10:36 AM
**The dad of Clairton 5-star CB Lamont Wade updated me on his son’s day. Mr. Wade told me that Penn State was the first school to contact him today. Also, Pitt, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Tennessee are scheduled to visit him over the next week.

UPDATE 1:09 PM
**Can 100% confirm that Pitt RB Andre Powell has just met with Woodland Hill RB Miles Sanders. Will try and get some information from Sanders himself

UPDATE 1:20 PM
**Just heard from McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson who told me Pitt CB coach Renaldo Hill was in to see him today. Hudson also said that UCLA was there too.

UPDATE 1:53 PM
**Moments ago, Philadelphia 4-star OG Johncarlo Valentin announced that’s he’s committed to Oklahoma. Last week, Pitt was one of the 10 schools that Valentin listed as his finalists.

UPDATE 3:26 PM
**Current Maryland commit Andrew Trainer tells me that he still hasn’t decided if he’ll make an official visits. Trainer holds an offer from Pitt and with a new coaching staff in place at Virginia is unsure if he’ll stick with the commitment.

UPDATE 3:29 PM
**People have speculated that RB Elijah Deveaux might consider flipping from Duke to Pitt. I just talked to him and asked if possibly could happen? Deveaux told me, “No, I’m set on Duke.”

UPDATE 6:15 PM

UPDATE 10:01 PM

**Just confirmed that Chicago DT Amir Watts has received an offer from Penn State. That’s a pretty big development. When I asked Watts his reaction to the offer and if it would impact his scheduled official visits, Watts said, “No other comment at this time.” In the last week, Watts has received offers from Penn State, Maryland and Iowa State. The 3-star DT is scheduled to make his official visit to Pitt next weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how this offer from Penn State changes things (if at all).

UPDATE (10:21 PM)
**One other update regarding Watts, I was just told that Pitt defensive line coach Thomas Simms visited with him tonight. That’s a good things for Pitt.

UPDATE (11:15 PM)
**Coach Tim Salem was in New Jersey tonight visiting with LB Elias Reynolds. The middle linebacker is a major target for Pitt and will be in Pittsburgh this weekend for an official visit.
