With the addition of Amir Watts, Pitt’s remaining recruiting targets are pretty clear. Despite having scholarship limitations, Damar Hamlin, Khaleke Hudson, Keyshon Camp, K’Von Wallace and Darnell Salomon will have a spot if they commit to Pitt. I don’t believe other kids can say the same thing. Landing all of those players would be a good problem to have for Pat Narduzzi.
**Speaking of Narduzzi, he’s in Florida today with Josh Conklin and Renaldo Hill to see Camp and CB Henry Miller. With one week left until Signing Day, Narduzzi will use his one in-home visit to try and convince Miller to keep his commitment to Pitt.

**I’m thinking most of the other assistants are out laying the foundation for Pitt’s Class of 2017. I’m told that RB coach Andre Powell will be in Ohio today checking in on 2017 recruits.
UPDATE (11:12 AM)-
**Spoke to 2017 4-star OL Marcus Minor (Hyattsville, MD), who received an offer from Pitt over the weekend. Minor told me that OL coach John Peterson was coach that offered and it was a surprise because he hasn’t heard much from Pitt.
“It’s a blessing to receive scholarships at something I was blessed to do and have a passion for. My hard work is paying off and it feels great”, said Minor.
“I would like to go into a school with the major of journalism and communications. Also, a place I’m able to call home and somewhere that feels best to me”
Minor says that he plans on making visits to Virginia Tech, North Carolina and West Virginia soon.
UPDATE (11:18 AM)
**Earlier I mentioned that Narduzzi and a couple assistants are in Florida to see Camp and Miller, I just found out about another visit. 4-star WR Darnell Salomon messaged me to say that Narduzzi and company just stopped by to see him. Salomon will be in Pittsburgh this weekend and the Pitt staff are trying real hard to get him in the fold. If they could get a commitment, it would give them three 4-star receivers in this class (Ruben Flowers and Juwann Winfree).
UPDATE (3:37 PM)
**Congrats to 2018 WR Julian Major from Penn Hills for picking up an offer from Iowa State. Only a sophomore, Major is a recruit from the area that you’ll be hearing a lot about.
UPDATE (3:55 PM)
**Pitt offered 2 more 2017 prospects today. First one is Bruce Judson, who’s a BIG TIME prospect. Judson is rated as one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the country and one of the Top 100 players. Judson (Cocoa, Florida) has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Miami Fla, Ohio State. Enough said. I’m wondering if OC Matt Canada has scouted Judson in the past. I’m hoping to talk with Judson sometime tonight.
**Second one is Joshua Fedd-Jackson, who’s an offensive guard from Montvale, New Jersey. Fedd-Jackson is a 3-star recruit with offers from Boston College, Michigan, Rutgers and Temple.
UPDATE (4:09 PM)
**McKeesport star Khaleke Hudson announced on Twitter that he’ll be making his college decision this coming Wednesday. He says that he’ll choose between Pitt, Michigan, UCLA and Penn State. This means that Hudson won’t be making an official visit to Pitt this weekend. Hudson tells me that he’ll make his announcement on Twitter. Didn’t want to do it on KDKA-TV.
UPDATE (4:21 PM)-
**This is something to keep your eye on. Pitt recruit Maurice Ffrench just picked up an offer from Penn State. I know that the Penn State coaches are trying to get him to make an official visit this weekend. Stay tuned.
UPDATE (7:34 PM)-
**Beaver Falls 2017 DT Donovan Jeter picked up an offer today from Mississippi. That’s the 21st offer for the 4-star recruit. Obviously, he’s a priority recruit for Pitt next year.
**Clairton 2018 WR Noah Hamlin received an offer tonight from Boston College. That’s a nice offer for the sophomore wide receiver who will be the next star coming out of the Clairton program.
UPDATE (7:47 PM)-
**Virginia TE Andrew Trainer de-committed tonight from Virginia and gave a verbal to Illinois. Trainer had some interest in Pitt and I wrote about him a few weeks ago. All the best to him at Illinois.
UPDATE (7:52 PM)-
**Just heard back from Virginia CB/WR K’Von Wallace and he told me that he’ll be visiting Clemson. Wallace says that he’ll be visiting Clemson on Wednesday and Thursday. Pitt WR coach Kevin Sherman will be visiting Wallace tomorrow. Unlike Pitt, Clemson is recruiting Wallace as a cornerback. After his visit to Clemson, he’ll be in Pittsburgh this weekend.
UPDATE (9:22 PM)-
**Being told that Penn State was in today to check on Apollo Ridge 2017 running back Duane Brown. Pitt coaches were at Apollo Ridge H.S. on Friday.
UPDATE (10:00 PM)-
5 Pitt coaches were at CB Henry Miller’s house for a visit. Miller visited Miami, Fla over the weekend.
