5 days and counting!

**On tap for today is the start of Pitt’s final official visit weekend.  As of now, the only scheduled visitor is Central Catholic’s Damar Hamlin.  Current commit Bricen Garner is also going to be on campus with Hamlin.

**Rashad Weaver (former Michigan commit) is currently on his official visit to Pitt. He arrived in town yesterday and will be here till tomorrow before going to Penn State.  I briefly exchanged messages with Weaver last night and he was enjoying his visit.  Weaver told me, “I love the city feel.”  He didn’t want to comment on anything else until the end of his visit and before he spoke to his mother.   He did tell me that Pitt is recruiting him as a defensive end.

UPDATE (8:48 AM)-

**Since I’m getting a lot of questions regarding last night’s “Big Rumor”, I’ll say this.  At the appropriate time (possibly tonight), I’ll explain what it was but not before then.  It’s a situation that that could have a negative impact on multiple parties and I’m not going to be responsible for that.  It’s nice to have information first but not if it harms someone.

UPDATE (2:13)-

**Another smart move by Pat Narduzzi, I’ve been told that Damar Hamlin will be staying with Jordan Whitehead this weekend.  Brilliant recruiting strategy.

UPDATE (4:18 PM)-

**Big day for 2017 Central Catholic DT Kurt Hinish as he picked up a big offer. Hinish received an offer from Baylor, his 9th offer. Earlier in the week, Hinish received offers from Boston College, Syracuse and West Virginia.

UPDATE (4:33)-

**Baylor offered another player from Central Catholic today.  2017 linebacker David Adams received an offer from Art Briles and Baylor.
