Miller Staying With Pitt

Pitt fans and more importantly Pitt coaches can breath easier, Florida cornerback Henry Miller will sign with Pitt tomorrow.

Just minutes ago, Miller told me that he’s made up his mind and he’s sticking with Pitt.

For the last couple of weeks, Miller has been getting pulled by both Ohio State and hometown Miami of Florida.  In fact, Miller took an official visit to “The U” and hosted new coach Mark Richt for an in-home visit.

So, why did he stick with Pitt?

“The relationships with the players and in the end I just felt confident in my original decision. Also,  that defense is for me”, said Miller.

Was it hard to turn down the hometown school?

“It was hard but then again, it really wasn’t.”

Pat Narduzzi and Josh Conklin are really collecting some serious talent in the secondary.   Miller can now be added to Jordan Whitehead, Damar Hamlin, Paris Ford, Therran Coleman, Bricen Garner. Exree Loe, etc.

Miller gave me a three word answer when I asked him his reaction to Hamlin committing to Pitt yesterday.
