Pitt Offers 4-Star Running Back

Over the years, running back has been a position that Pitt has never had a problem recruiting.  Whether it’s Dion Lewis, Ray Graham, LeSean McCoy, James Conner or Qadree Ollison, Pitt finds talent and develops it.

Pitt has identified another big-time talent and extended him with an offer yesterday.

Kyshaun Bryan (5-10, 185) is a 4-star running back from St.  Thomas Aquinas (Plantatian, Florida) who got the news yesterday from Pitt.  Bryan now holds offers from Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia Tech, Michigan and West Virginia.

I talked with Bryan shortly after getting the offer from Pitt. “Really, I’m interested in every school that offers me a scholarship.  I’ve decided that after spring, I’ll be cutting my offer list down to just 10 schools. I just want to see where I feel comfortable and see how much the coaching staff wants me to be there and the love that they show me”, said Bryan.

I then asked Bryan about his relationship with Pitt and the offer.

“Pitt has been talking to me for a while so I’m glad they decided to give me this opportunity.   It was Coach Salem that offered and he told me that he was impressed with my style (tough runner), my speed and my vision on the field”, said Bryan.

So what type of back is Bryan and who would be compare his style to?

“I’m a tough runner with great breakaway speed.  I’d compare myself to Terrell Davis”, said Bryan.

The Florida back tells me that Pitt is a school that he’s going to consider and that he hopes to make a trip to visit the campus in the spring.    As far as any other upcoming visits, Bryan will visit South Carolina on March 19th.

It goes without saying that Bryan is a player that Pitt has interest in and will try hard to get him to make a visit on campus.
