Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly has gotten another commitment from one of the top players in the WPIAL’s Class of 2017.
Not only is Central Catholic’s David Adams one of the top players in the WPIAL but he’s one of the top players in the entire country. Tonight on Twitter, Adams announced he’s heading to Notre Dame.
Adams joins North Allegheny’s offensive tackle Josh Lugg as WPIAL players that are heading to South Bend. Tomorrow, Adams teammate Kurt Hinish will announce his college decision on KDKA TV at 6:45 PM. Hinish will be deciding between Notre Dame, Penn State and Pitt.
Adams is rated as one of the top middle linebackers in the country and had offers from every major college program. I’m sure the Pitt coaching staff is disappointed that he made a decision this early but I don’t think this as a total shock to them.
We’d like to congratulate David Adams on his decision and wish him nothing but the best in the future. Make the WPIAL proud at Notre Dame.
