Stallings Offers Knight A Job

Published

on

Former Pitt assistant coach Brandin Knight didn’t get the head coaching job but he still has a chance to remain on the staff.

A source tells me that Kevin Stallings has offered Knight an assistants job on his coaching staff.  I’m being told that Knight is unsure as to whether he wants to accept the offer.

This source tells me that Knight ultimately wants to be Pitt head coach one day and the only way for him to have a chance is for him to become a head coach someplace.   I’m told that Knight believes that his lack of head coaching experience is the biggest reason why he didn’t get consideration for the job this time.
