Here’s a collection of recruiting notes that we’ve gathered throughout the day. We’ll continue to update this as we receive it.
**Central Catholic 2018 quarterback Troy Fisher received an offer today from Temple. This was the first offer for Central Catholic’s sophomore quarterback. Fisher (6-4, 195) has ideal size, is a good athlete and no doubt will be a major recruit in 2018.
**An offensive lineman that Pitt has their eye on received a big offer this morning. Offensive tackle Joel Honigford (6-6, 263) from Sugarcreek, Ohio received an offer from Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. Honigford attended Pitt’s Junior Day and has has a lot of interest in the Panthers. So John Peterson and Pat Narduzzi are involved in a real battle to try and land Honigford.

**Steel Valley running back Dewayne Murray picked up his 8th offer when Stony Brook offered him a scholarship.
**Mars 2018 guard Robby Carmody received a visit this morning from Michigan basketball coach John Beilein. Carmody (6-4, 185) already has offers from Louisville, Duquesne, Penn State, Cincinnati, Xavier, Purdue and Pitt.
**The mystery of 2017 4-star linebacker Tyler Dunning continues. At the end of March, Dunning tweeted that his final five schools were (in no order) Syracuse, Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU and Arkansas. Then last night, he caught the attention of Pitt fans by tweeting: “H2P ❗️❗️????
So what does that mean?
I messaged Dunning this morning and asked him if he was just having fun on Twitter or is Pitt a possibility? He responded back by saying, “Possibility!”
UPDATE (7:56 PM)
**I’m told that Pitt is recruiting Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD) DE/LB Victor Dimukeje very hard and would like to get a commitment. Dimukeje (6-2, 245) has offers from Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Maryland, Rutgers, Virginia, West Virginia.

**4-star LB Tyler Dunning just announced on Twitter that “Decision coming real soon.” Does that mean he’s going to commit to a school tonight? Stay tuned.

**Being told that Pitt assistant coach John Peterson has been in contact with RB Morgan Ellison (Pickerington, Ohio) a couple of times since his visit over the weekend. To this point, Pitt hasn’t extended an offer.
UPDATE (9:28 PM)
**Florida 4-star RB Bruce Judson tweeted tonight that he’ll be visiting Pitt on September 10th for the Pitt/Penn State game. His visit to Pitt over the weekend obviously made a huge impression on him.
