**The Pitt basketball staff continues to offer scholarships to players from different parts of the country, this time targeting Texas.
Coach Richardson made an offer today to 3-star Savion Flagg from Alvin, Texas. Flagg (6-7, Small Forward) has offers from Northwestern, Purdue, SMU, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Florida, TCU, Kansas State and Virginia Tech.
**Charlotte QB Kingsley Ifedi is currently on the road and will be arriving in Pittsburgh later today. The 3-star QB will be spending the weekend in Pittsburgh, visiting the Pitt campus and the football facilities. Ifedi holds a Pitt offer and I like Pitt’s chances of landing him.
UPDATE (2:21 PM)-
**New Castle 2018 WR/CB Marcus Hooker (5-11, 185) picked up his first offer today from Temple. This will be the first of many offers for this talented prospect. Marcus’s older brother, Malik, is a safety for Ohio State.

**Clairton 2017 WR Noah Hamlin picked up a Big 12 offer this afternoon when Iowa State offered. This is the 3rd offer for Hamlin.
UPDATE (5:36 PM)-
**The Pitt football staff has offered another player from the state of Maryland. Devin Darrington (5-9, 200) a RB/LB from Bel Air, Maryland received the offer. Pitt is the first Power 5 school to offer Darrington and I hope to have more with him later.

**Pitt assistant Kevin Sherman extended an offer today to Tyran Hunt from Courtland, Virginia. Hunt (6-6, 270) is a 3-star OL/DE with offers form Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State, Wake Forest and Cincinnati.
