It’s the start of the week which means Pitt coaches are out recruiting all over the East coast. Remember, coaches are just permitted to attend a players practice, text or call him. I think that’s ridiculous but those are the rules.
**Like last week, Pitt will continue to recruit the state of Florida this week and I know of at least one coach that is already there.
**As I tweeted out already this morning, Pitt has already been at the school of New Jersey 4-star DT Fred Hansard. The blue-chop prospect told me that Coach Sims was at the school. Pitt continues to aggressively pursue this big-time prospect and he hasn’t ruled them out. Stay tuned.
UPDATE (4:36 PM)-
**University Prep 4-star athlete Kenny Robinson picked up an offer from Virginia Tech today. Robinson is a player that Pitt has a ton of interest in.
UPDATE (5:03 PM)-
**Aliquippa sophomore safety Kwantel Raines picked up his 13th offer as NC State offered him a scholarship today.
UPDATE (7:08 PM)-
**Pitt makes an interesting offer today to a 4-star player that’s already committed to another school. 4-star quarterback Mac Jones has been committed to Kentucky since last July but today Pitt decided to offer him. Jones (6-3, 181) is from Jacksonville, Florida and also holds offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Jones received the offer from Pitt WR coach Kevin Sherman.
