Pitt Offers Charlotte Tight End

Published

Kingsley Ifedi and Jeremiah Hall have been a productive duo for Vance High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.  If the name, Kingsley Ifedi sounds familiar, he’s a quarterback with an offer from Pitt and recently visited Pittsburgh.   Last night, Pitt offered Ifedi’s teammate.

“The offer didn’t come as a surprise considering that the new offensive coordinator came from NC State and I received an offer from them last year.  When he came by my school about 2 weeks ago, I had a feeling it might come”, said Hall.

“I’m very excited about the offer because I’m familiar with the offense that Coach Canada runs. It’s somewhat similar to what I do in high school now.”

Hall (6-3, 225) says that his biggest strength is his versatility on the field. He’s an excellent route runner, can block and can pick up yards after the catch.

“Coach Sherman told me explained to me how I’d fit in the offense and compared me to NC State H-Back Jalen Samuels, who went to my rival school and played in my head coaches offense when he was there”, said Hall.

I asked Hall about him and Ifedi both having offers from Pitt and if his teammate has mentioned anything to him about Pitt.

“Kingsley told me that it’s a great place/city with great opportunities.   He also mentioned the similar offensive scheme between us and the OC there now.”

What about the possibility of you two possibly being teammates again?

“Yeah, me and Kingsley sometimes talk about the chances of us sticking together.   But we both know at the end of the day that we have to make a decision that’s best for us, and if we happen to go to the same place, then it will be one of the best combinations in college football.”

The 3-star tight end told me that he plans on making an upcoming visit to Pitt.
