Over the next few days, look for news of out of town players announcing that they plan on visiting Pitt in the month of June.
**2017 wide receiver MJ Jarrell announced on Twitter he’s narrowed his list of schools down to 10 and Pitt made the list. Jarrell (6-2, 183) is from Timber Creek High School in Orlando, Florida and was one of the many players that received an offer from Pitt over the last couple of weeks.
Jarrell’s Top 10: Pitt, Virginia Tech, Duke, Maryland, South Carolina, Louisville, NC State, Indiana, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
I asked Jarrell, why Pitt made his list- “Basically the opportunity to play early and make an impact soon”, said Jarrell. “Also the way Pitt has used their past receivers like Tyler Boyd.”
UPDATE (11:05 AM)-
**A good source told me that Thomas Jefferson linebacker Zane Zandier is waiting on Pitt. If Pitt offers they’ll be #1 on his list. If they don’t offer, it’ll probably be Boston College or Toledo. West Virginia is also in the picture. Zandier is attending a Pitt football camp on June 5th and is hoping to get an offer.
Here’s the story that I did with Zandier last week.

**Darien High School (Darien, CT) OT Andrew Stueber (6-6, 305) tells me that he hopes to make a visit to Pitt in mid to late June. He also adds that he continues to talk regularly with Coach Salem and Coach Peterson.
Stueber is a player that Pitt really would like to land. The 2017 tackle holds an impressive offer list of Boston College, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, Duke, Northwestern and Tennessee.

UPDATE (11:25 AM)-
**Fairmont, West Virginia DT Darius Stills says that he’ll be attending the upcoming Pitt football camp on June 4th. Stills is hoping to land an offer from Pitt.
