Pickett Commits To Pitt

Published

From the time he received an offer from Pitt, quarterback Kenny Pickett knew he wanted to come to Pitt. Today, he made it official.

While in town attending the Pitt camp today,  the native of New Jersey released the news that he’s coming to Pitt. From what I understand, Pickett let the Pitt coaches know last Thursday that he planned on committing.

Pickett (6-3, 191) originally gave a verbal commitment to Temple, but changed his mind shortly after being offered by Pat Narduzzi and Pitt.  Pickett is Pitt’s 4th recruit in the Class of 2017 and first offensive player (Paris Ford, Exree Loe, Kyle Nunn).

With the addition of Pickett, Pitt has replenished it’s future depth at the quarterback position with Pickett, Thomas MacVittie, Bo Schneider (Central Florida transfer) and Ben DiNucci.

I look for Pitt to receive at least one other commitment this weekend.
