Let’s see what this Wednesday brings in terms of Pitt/WPIAL recruiting notes.

**Some local basketball news, ESPN came out with rankings for the Class of 2018 and they’ve ranked  Mars shooting guard Robby Carmody as the #47 player in the country. Congrats Robby.

(Check out the Q&A that we did with Robby from April, here.)

UPDATE (11:34 AM)-
**Since their football camp over the weekend, Pitt has only offered 2 players and one of those players wasn’t a camper. Reason for that is the coaches are want to be totally sure before taking a big step like that plus, they’re still evaluating more talent. In fact, I’m told that Pitt has 11 coaches at 2 football camps today (Paramus Catholic, New Jersey camp and a Rutgers/Ohio State camp). Over 1,200 total kids are attending.

**One quick note about donations to the site… we’d like to thank those of you that have taken the time to make a donation to the site, trust me, when we’re paying the bills, it really comes in handy.  For those of you that have verbally pledged to help but haven’t done so yet, we’re still hoping you take the time to do so. Thank you.

UPDATE (1:02 PM)-
**Washington DC 3-star OL Johnny Jordan plans on visiting Pitt on June 25-26. Jordan just received an offer from Virginia Tech and also has interest in Virginia and Maryland.

UPDATE (6:17 PM)-
**Without a doubt, Pat Narduzzi has expanded the Pitt Panthers recruiting base. Pitt is no longer a program content with trying to get kids from the Northeast. Here’s another interesting and important piece of information: Pitt is also not just relying on getting recruits from PA and Ohio.
