Pitt and Pat Narduzzi didn’t receive good news this afternoon when Florida star Bruce Judson made a verbal commitment to South Florida. However, the news tonight was a bit better after Beaver Falls defensive tackle Donovan Jeter announced his Top 5.
The 4-star player had a tough assignment trying to reduce that list considering the amount of elite programs he had to choose from like Pitt, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, etc. However, tonight on Twitter, Jeter said that these are the 5 teams that he’ll make his final selection from: Pitt, Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State and Tennessee.

Jeter along with Clairton’s Lamont Wade are obviously Narduzzi’s top 2 recruiting targets and are players that would change the perception of Pitt’s 2017 recruiting class. Jeter is a player that Pitt fans and I’m sure Pitt coaches expect to eventually land, and after tonight, getting a commitment from him is still a possibility.
