PSN’s 2016 Pitt Football Coverage

Published

on

We’re 5 days away! Yes, 5 days away from the official start of the 2016 Pitt football season and we’re very excited about our upcoming coverage here on Pittsburgh Sports Now.

We’re confident that we’re going to provide Pitt football fans with as much content as they can handle — and likely more content and information than any media outlet in Pittsburgh.

Want proof of that? Here are just some of our plans for the upcoming Pitt  season.

** Alan Saunders will lead our coverage and provide you with day-day  information and news from the South Side. Alan is our beat writer and will be stationed at the Pitt football facility all season long. We’re also excited to say that not only will he cover all 2016 home games but will also be traveling to selected Pitt road games. During the week, Alan will cover Coach Narduzzi’s press conference, team practices and also have various preview stories leading up to Game Day.

** Harry Psaros and Mike Vukovcan will be on the Pitt football and basketball recruiting beat 7-days a week. They’ll continue to have the very latest and breaking Pitt recruiting news. Remember, Harry is the “original” Pitt recruiting insider and has more Pitt contacts than anyone in the city.

** David Hague is our site photographer and will we’ll display his photo galleries during the season, especially on game day. We’re very excited to show off Dave’s work.

** Pittsburgh Sports Now will also be producing a Pitt football podcast, co-hosted by Dan Kingerski, that will run once a week. The exact start-up date hasn’t been determined but I can tell you that it will start in approximately 2 weeks. We hope to have exact details later on this week.

** Pitt player/coaches interviews: Not only will we have written information but we’ll also provide you with video content.  Every week, you’ll be able to watch Pat Narduzzi’s Press Conference, as well as various Pitt player and assistant coaches interviews. Joe Steigerwald has big plans for the video content that we’ll be displaying on the site.

** WPIAL content We’re finalizing our exact coverage for the WPIAL season and will announce that soon.

Pitt football hasn’t been properly covered for a long time and our goal here at Pittsburgh Sports Now is to change that.
