What’s Going On With Wade/Jeter?

It’s amazing the impact that a tweet can have on a college football fan base. Sometimes I wonder and actually think that a recruit does it to gauge the feedback from fans.

Twitter was buzzing following a couple of tweets from WPIAL stars Donovan Jeter and Lamont Wade. First, let’s start with the timeline of Jeter.

Now here’s what Wade tweeted-

“Me & Jeter got something cooking”

“Moral of the story: Go where you’re wanted kids”

“Nobody knows where I’m going” ????

“Sheesh ain’t realize it a blow up like that”

So, what’s my take on all of this? Over the last couple of hours, I’ve received 10+ direct messages from Pitt fans asking me questions. “Does this mean Jeter isn’t coming to Pitt”, “This doesn’t look good for Pitt, huh”,  “Are Wade and Jeter going to commit to the same school”, etc. Honestly, I have no gut feeling on any of this.

I have texts and direct messages into various people close to this situation and if I get any information, I’ll update this story. Also, PSN’s Harry Psaros is working his contacts and if there’s anything out there, Harry will have it.

All I know is that both of these elite players are seriously considering Pitt. Time will tell if one or both of them decide to stay home.
