After Pitt guard Dorian Johnson was named a preseason All-American by ESPN, it got me to think about something. Johnson will obviously be drafted this April. But how many players on this year’s team will join him in the 2016 NFL Draft?
Here are my early season candidates: Johnson, Adam Bisnowaty, James Conner, Ejuan Price and Nate Peterman.

** Since virtually no one has started playing games yet and I’m not sure what’s changed, Rivals came out with an updated version of their Top 100 players in the Class of 2017. This updated list has 3 names on it that you should be familiar with.
Clairton’s Lamont Wade is rated as a 5-star prospect and ranked the #9 player in the country.
Steel Valley star and 2017 Pitt commitment Paris Ford is listed as the #62 player in the country and former Gateway lineman and current Notre Dame commitment Robert Hainsey is ranked #72.
