We’re about 24 hours away from the opening of the 2016 Pitt football season. Like Pat Narduzzi and his players, we here at Pittsburgh Sports Now are excited about getting our Pitt game day coverage started.
We hope you plan on checking out PSN throughout the entire day tomorrow because we plan on giving you the best and most complete coverage of Pitt football.
Alan Saunders will have coverage of Pitt – Villanova throughout the entire day. I will be providing an updated Pitt notebook along with a live blog of my thoughts during the actual game. We’d love for you to comment on what I’m saying or give your own opinion by leaving your comments. Our staff photographer, Dave Hague, will be busy getting the best pictures of the day and will produce some Pitt game day photo galleries. Plus, Joe Steigerwald will be getting the post game interviews so that you can hear what the Panthers have to say following the first game of the season.

UPDATE (1:00 PM)-
**One of the biggest complaints of Pitt fans about Heinz Field is that it doesn’t feel like a home-field advantage for Pitt. Â Not enough Pitt logos throughout the field, especially at mid-field. Well Scott Barnes heard the complaint and did something about it.
