48 hours away from GameDay !

** We’ll start of with some Duquesne basketball recruiting news. Jim Ferry and his staff will be hosting a 3-star point guard today.

Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.

Florida PG Jamari Wheeler (6-0, 165) will make an official visit to Duquesne starting today.

“I love the style of play at Duquesne and they play in the A10! They’re  in my Top 5. I can’t wait to see how their academics set up and how nice the campus is,” said Wheeler.

UPDATE (11:58 AM)-

** The Pitt basketball coaching staff will be visiting with 4-star SG Christian David (Vermont Academy) as he appears to be close to making a decision. Aside from Pitt, David will also get a visit from the staffs of both Butler and Creighton and it looks as though he’ll be selecting from those 3 schools. I like Pitt’s chances of landing this Top 100 player.

UPDATE (5:46 PM)-

**From what I understand, Pitt is still interested in 2017 QB Hendon Hooker (Greensboro, NC)…I’m not sure yet if Hooker will visit Pitt..Hooker is currently committed to Virginia Tech…Stay tuned
