It’s the question of the day, “who will Donovan Jeter pick?”

Since dropping the news about his impending decision, the Beaver Falls star has been the talk of the recruiting world. Who is Jeter going to play for?

If you listen to most recruiting experts, the 4-star defensive tackle is headed to Brian Kelly and Notre Dame. Jeter made an official visit to South Bend this weekend and afterwards, announced that he was ready to make his college decision.

Last night, Jeter told Tom Loy of 247 Sports that he’ll call each college coach at 10 AM and let them know his decision. Jeter will then make his decision public sometime around 1 PM.

Maybe I’m all wrong but I still have Jeter committing to Pitt.  I just find it hard to believe that he’s going to make a decision like this after just one trip to South Bend. It’s no secret that Jeter is a huge fan of and has a special relationship with Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi, a guy that’s been personally recruiting him for 2 years.

Call me crazy but I believe that means something and in the end will be the overriding factor.

UPDATE (10:44 AM)-
** Once again, Notre Dame gets a commitment from one of the WPIAL’s top players. First Central Catholic linebacker David Adams, then Pine-Richland QB Phil Jurkovec and now Donovan Jeter. This loss has to personally sting Narduzzi given all the time he invested in recruiting him. Unlike Jurkovec and Adams, most people believed Jeter would go to Pitt. Well, next man up.

UPDATE (12:03 PM)-
** The ACC announced that kickoff time for the Pitt/Marshall game has been set for 7:30 PM and the game will be televised on Root Sports Pittsburgh.

** Now that Donovan Jeter has verbaled to Notre Dame, the Pitt coaching staff has to move on and find another defensive tackle. The #1 defensive tackle prospect on Pitt’s list has to be Washington DC’s Jaylen Twyman. Twyman is a player that’s publically talked about how high he is on Pitt. I’d guess that he’s a likely Pitt commit but after what happened with Jeter, who knows.

UPDATE (6:09 PM)-
**Per our “Pitt Insider” Harry Psaros, 2016 Pitt OL commit Zack Williams (Citra, Florida) has decided he won’t attend Pitt and will instead go to a school closer to Florida. Due to academics, Williams hasn’t taken classes with Pitt yet.

UPDATE (6:57 PM)-
**By the looks of Twitter, many Pitt fans think Donovan Jeter was the last quality recruit available for Pitt to land a commitment from. I’m being a bit sarcastic but my point is that National Letter of Intent Day isn’t until February and there are plenty of available uncommitted recruits for Pitt to land.

Here are a few– WR Carmoni Green, Charles Reeves, Carter Warren, Thayer Munford, Jaylen Twyman, TyJuan Garbutt, Nathan Proctor, Ambry Thomas, Kenny Bennett, Connor Heyward and of course, Lamont Wade to name a few. Relax!!
