Congragulations to former Pitt wide receiver Devin Street who was picked up this morning by the Indianapolis Colts from the New England Patriots practice squad and placed on the Colts 53 man roster.

** Per Corey Evans, Penn State basketball coach Pat Chambers was in evaluating Mars 2018 4-star guard Robby Carmody.

UPDATE (11:39 AM)-

** Our Alan Saunders has an interesting note from Pitt practice, yesterday freshman Thomas MacVittie was working as Pitt’s 2nd team quarterback.  If it came down to it, would Pitt burn his redshirt season?

UPDATE (12:30 PM)-

** More good news for a former Pitt Panther. The Vikings announced today that left tackle T.J. Clemmings will take over for injured starter Matt Kalil. Clemmings was drafted as a right tackle and this will be his first time playing left tackle.

UPDATE (2:43 PM)-

** Although it appears to be an uphill battle, the Pitt coaches offered one of the top players in the Class of 2018.  Leonard Taylor (6-5, 240) a 4-star tight end from Springfield, Ohio, picked up an offer today from Pitt.

Interesting point concerning Taylor is that he was committed to Michigan but recently de-committed from them. Before committing to the Wolverines, Taylor had a Top 3 of Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame.

UPDATE (3:49 PM)-

Via Alan Saunders, here’s RT Brian O’Neill talking to the media after Pitt’s practice today on the South Side.

UPDATE (6:27 PM)-
**It appears as though, Pitt is out of the running for Florida 4-star center Victor Uyaelunmo.  The Pitt coaching staff has been recruiting Uyaelunmo but ESPN recruiting Insider Jeff Borzello tweets that he’s decide on Friday between Vanderbilt, USC and Tennessee.
