UPDATE (6:27 PM)
Just confirmed that 4-star forward Kimani Lawrence is on his way to Pittsburgh and will be making his official visit to Pitt tomorrow through Sunday. Lawrence has Pitt in his final 5 and would be a huge get for Kevin Stallings.

UPDATE (3:47 PM) by Alan Saunders-

Pitt has released its injury report for this week.

Linebacker Mike Caprara (lower body) and wide receiver Zach Challingsworth(upper extremity) are questionable.

Caprara started last week against Marshall, but did not finish the game. Challingsworth did not play.

Safety Jordan Whitehead, who also did not play against Marshall, is not listed on the report.

Bam Bradley and Saleem Brightwell will fill in for Caprara. Aaron Mathews, Maurice Ffrench and Tre Tipton should pick up more extra reps in place of Challingsworth.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi released a statement on Tuesday saying that he expects Whitehead to be available this week.

Wide receiver Dontez Ford (collarbone) and linebacker Elijah Zeise (ankle) are both listed as out.

UPDATE (3:06 PM) by Alan Saunders-

As part of the ACC athletic director’s fall meetings, the conference announced that the baseball tournament, held next spring in Louisville, Ky., will expand from 10 to 12 teams.

“Our goal every year is to be one of those teams and this certainly increases those chances,” said Pitt baseball head coach Joe Jordano. “I expect, and I’m sure everyone in this program expects, to be one of those teams competing in Louisville this May.”

Who is the favorite to get Clairton 5-star CB Lamont Wade? Two experts from Rivals gave their opinions today.

UPDATE (2:13 PM)-

** Which recruits will Pitt have at the game Saturday? Steve Wiltfong from 247 Sports once again got a list of some visitors.

According to Wiltfong, these recruits will be at Heinz Field Saturday: Paris Ford, Todd Sibley, Kenny Pickett, Albert Tucker, Grant Carrigan, Connor Heyward, Charles Reeves and Carter Warren.

Heyward, Reeves and Warren are 3 players that could all eventually commit to Pitt? Could that happen this weekend?

Other players who Wiltfong reports will be here includes RB Jarell White, DE Malik Vann (2018), DE/TE John Morgan (2018), QB Tadas Tatatunas (2018), WR Malik Sheppard (2018), LB Chris Julian.

UPDATE (11:50 AM)-

** Another big offer for Aliquippa 2018 safety Kwantel Raines. Yesterday it was Wisconsin, today Louisville offered the 4-star safety. By this time next year, Raines will have offers from every major school in the country.

UPDATE (9:05 AM)-

**Jim Ferry and the Dukes have offered a 2018 prospect from Ohio. Mark Mayle (6-8, 195) is a power forward from Malvern, Ohio and also has offers from Toledo and Kent State.

PITT OFFERS THREE FROM MARYLAND

It was an interesting night for Pitt recruiting as the Panthers offer 3 players from the state of Maryland. Last night, Tyree Henry, Randy Fields and Alvontray Foster all picked up scholarship offers from Pitt.

This was big for Foster (6-4, 205) because it was his first scholarship offer. Foster is in the Class of 2018 and plays wide receiver and defensive end.

Fields (6-3, 185) is also in the Class of 2018 and like Foster is a wide receiver. This is his second offer, previously getting one from Cincinnati.

Like Fields and Foster, Henry is a big wideout (6-5, 225) and now has offers from Pitt, Virginia Tech, NC State and West Virginia. I find it interesting that Henry was offered because he’s a 2017 recruit and I wasn’t sure if Pitt would be offering another wideout. Pitt has already recieved commitments from Dontavius Butler, Darian Street and appear to be in good shape with Georgia wideout Connor Heyward.
