UPDATE (8:46 PM)-
** We’re about 2 months away from Clairton’s Lamont Wade making his college decision and this weekend he’ll make his first official visit. Tonight, Wade announced that he’ll spend the weekend in Knoxville watching Alabama and Tennessee. Butch Jones and Tennessee could very well be the leader for this 5-star talent.
UPDATE (4:28 PM)-
Here’s Coach Narduzzi speaking at his weekly press conference from earlier today.
Also speaking today was DT Shakir Soto, who led the team with eight tackles and two tackles for a loss versus Georgia Tech.

UPDATE (1:32 PM)-
** Pitt kicker Chris Blewitt and right tackle Brian O’Neill were honored today by the conference. Blewitt was named the ACC Specialist of the Week after connecting on 3 field goals and accounting for 13 points. O’Neill scored a 24 yard touchdown and was the leader on Pitt’s offensive line.
UPDATE (11:23 AM)-
** For the second time in the last three days, the Pitt coaching staff has offered a prospect from Florida. On Friday night, the staff offered cornerback Jeffrey Lubin and now it’s DE Kevince Brown.
Brown (6-5, 230) is a defensive end from Orlando, Florida and holds offers from Oregon State, Rutgers and Central Florida. I hope to speak to Brown later this afternoon.
UPDATE (11:05 AM)-
** As I wrote about earlier today, I thought freshman Damar Hamlin and Therran Coleman could appear on the depth chart this week. And according to the latest depth charts, they are.
This morning, Pat Narduzzi listed Hamlin as a option behind starter Avonte Maddox. Coleman’s name also appeared for the first time on the other side behind Ryan Lewis. Will they get on the field this Saturday vs. Virginia?
REEVES READY TO ANNOUNCE
As you know by now, New Jersey OT Carter Warren gave a verbal commitment to Pitt on Saturday. Is another commitment on the way?
Early this morning, Ryan Donnelly of Panther-lair reported that Ohio TE Charles Reeves is ready to make his decision. According to the report, Reeves plans on announcing his college choice on October 22nd.
I’d be shocked if Reeves doesn’t commit to Pitt.
