Tennessee, Are You Serious?
It was a REAL bad day for Butch Jones and the Tennessee football program.
First, they got spanked at home, 49-10, to #1 Alabama. That’s not terrible considering they lost to college football’s premier program. However, the next example is inexcusable and could have someone’s job on the line.
Tennessee was hosting a number of big recruits including 5-star cornerback Lamont Wade. Everyone knows he’s the premier cornerback in the country and a really big deal. Do you notice anything strange in this picture?
Who was in charge of spelling Lamont’s name? You think it’s somewhat important to spell the best cornerback in the country’s name right when he’s making an official visit?
I’m not recruiting for Pitt but I can tell you that LAMONT is a household name in Pittsburgh for football fans. That wouldn’t happen here in the media or at Pitt.
