UPDATE (9:21 AM)-

**Running back she coach Andre Powell was in Akron last night watching Pitt 2017 commit Todd Sibley.

UPDATE (8:56 AM)-

**Tight ends coach Tim Salem was in Ohio and I believe he was at Pitt’s recent commitment Charles Reeves senior night. If that’s the case, smart move by Salem and Pitt.

UPDATE (8:51 AM)-

**Pitt WR coach Kevin Sherman was in Georgia last night watching Pitt target Connor Heyward. I can tell you that he’s a player that Pitt would like to get a commitment from soon. I believe Pitt is his top school but Heyward is taking his time and making sure he makes the right decision before committing to anyone.

Playing on Thursday night allowed the Pitt coaching staff to get out recruiting Friday and attend some high school football games.

Pitt’s top target Clairton’s Lamont Wade played at Jeannette and Pitt was well represented at the game. Head coach Pat Narduzzi and defensive coordinator Josh Conklin were at the game. Expect Wade to get a ton of attention from Pitt over the next month prior to his decision in December.

**Wade wasn’t the only player on the field that Narduzzi and Conklin were evaluating. I’m told that they were also there to continue their evaluation of Clairton star WR/DB Noah Hamlin. From what I understand, the Pitt coaches are impressed with what they see from Hamlin. Is a scholarship on the way? Stay tuned.
