UPDATE (4:32 PM)-

UPDATE (2:12 PM)-

**Pitt coach Kevin Stallings has extended an offer to a 2018 recruit.

Want to remind everyone to please do whatever you can to stop by Cupka’s this Saturday for our last Pitt football Watch Party of the season. As I mentioned last night, this Saturday will be dedicated to trying to raise money for Darran Dunlap, daughter of 93.7 The Fan’s Colin Dunlap, who’s been diagnosed with leukemia.

We’re asking people to arrive at Cupka’s (South Side) between 230 and 3 PM. Over the last 24 hours, I’ve been in touch with members of all the local sports teams in town. Thankfully, they’ve been kind enough to donate items to me that we’ll be auctioning and raffling off. A few of the things that we’ve received are a signed football from Antonio Brown, a signed Penguins jersey, a signed Cam Heyward jersey (player TBA), signed items from Jerome Bettis, a pair of courtside seats to Pitt vs. Louisville and a Pitt helmet signed by Pat Narduzzi. More to be announced.  We’re going to have a silent auction for some of this stuff.  I’ll announce more details later.

We’re hoping for a huge turnout in order to raise a lot of money for the Dunlap family.  However, if you can’t attend any still want to donate to her you can do so by going to PittsburghSportsNow.com.  At the top of the site, there’s a tab labeled “Donate”. You can send it to her by designating to “For Darran.” Some of you have already done so and we thank you for that.  Hopefully more of you will consider doing this. Can’t be a worse feeling than having a child that’s sick.  Please consider helping.

Sandy Schall, Coldwell Banker
