UPDATE (1:10 PM)-

**Pitt is the perceived front-runner for Georgia wide receiver Connor Heyward but they just received some heavy competition.

UPDATE (11:05 AM)-

**2018 Ohio Center Dylan Swingle (6-10, 275) is a player that Kevin Stallings and his staff would like to land. They’ll have a chance to impress him because he’s on his way to town.

Just talked with Swingle and he says that he just finished basketball practice and is on his way to town. Swingle will be attending tonight’s basketball game and “is looking forward to that.”

UPDATE (9:36 AM)-

**Yesterday, Cleveland 2018 4-star DE Tyreke Smith received an offer from Pitt. Last night, Smith picked up another big offer.

UPDATE (9:28 AM)-

**Congrats to New Castle 2018 athlete Marcus Hooker as he receives a nice honor.

In case you missed it, due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel our planned charitable auction/raffle.  All donated items will be returned to the donors. I’d like to thank everyone that was willing and eager to help when I contacted them.  Very heartwarming to see how many generous people we have here in this area.  Thank you.

**I’m curious as to what expectations do Pitt basketball fans have for this year’s team? How many wins are you expecting? Are you excited? What would you consider to be a successful season ?

**I’m excited to see the new talent (both young and old) for the Duquesne basketball team.  Coach Jim Ferry has a lot of new “parts” to work with, how long will it take to get them all on the same page? Considering the strength of the Atlantic 10, it’s important for the Dukes to have early success in their non-conference schedule.
