Playing on national television can be a good or a bad thing. If you lose and don’t play well, it’s really bad. If you win and beat the #2 team in the country, it’s a REAL good thing.

I can tell you that although they weren’t out recruiting yesterday, it was a tremendous day for the Pitt coaches in terms of recruiting.

Immediately after the win, I’ve been in contact with recruits and getting their reaction to what they watched yesterday. I’ll be updating this as more players get back to me.

Connor Heyward, Georgia, 3-star 2017 WR:

“Big time win for Pitt! It was an impressive win. I knew Pitt had it in them. They were in every game this season.”

DJ EdwardsPalm Beach Lakes, 3-star 2017 WR:

“The execution and swag they have. They’re confident. They have an electrifying offense and they opened it up tonight. Like Tyler Boyd says they have an exciting offense.”

Alex ReigelspergerWayne, 4-star 2018 DE:

“I’m super excited and proud for Coach Narduzzi and my guys at Pitt. It really shows what Coach Duzz is doing for Pitt. Can’t wait to go there next weekend.”
