Starting this Saturday the Pitt football team will host many recruits over the next few months leading up to National Letter of Intent Day in February.
One of the players making a visit this Saturday is 2018 DE Madison Norris (6-5, 200) from Fishers, Indiana. 247 Sports rates Norris as a 3-star prospect with early offers from Indiana, Louisville and Central Michigan. Norris tells me that he thinks NC State is close to offering.
“I’ve been talking with Coach Landan Salem for a couple of weeks. I’m visiting Pitt so I can see the football program and build a better relationship with the coaching staff,” said Norris.
“I haven’t been to Pittsburgh but I’m excited to see the campus and the athletic facilities.”
The Pitt coaches have already offered 11 defensive ends in the Class of 2018 (Dante Stills, Malik Vann, Spencer Anderson, Dennis Briggs, Jarrett Jackson, Kayode Oladele, Tyreke Smith, K.J. Henry, Tyler Baylor, John Morgan and Eyabi Anoma), will Norris be next?
“They haven’t talked about an offer yet but if I receive one it would that I’m going in the right direction with football and that I need to keep it up.”
“I would like to say that I’m a fast player, I get off the ball quick and I have good ball pursuit,” said Norris.
