UPDATE (5:09 PM)-
**Ohio 2017 lineman Thayer Munford,a huge target of the Pitt coaching staff, received a big offer tonight. Munford, who took an official visit to Iowa State over the weekend, received an offer from Miami, Fla. Jeremy Birmingham is reporting that Munford will visit Ohio State this coming weekend.

UPDATE (3:27 PM)-
**The Pitt football staff has extended an offer to a lineman from Ohio. Junior OT/NT Jimmy McKenna from Avon, Ohio received the news from the Pitt staff. I haven’t confirmed this yet, but I’d imagine OL coach John Peterson offered McKenna. This is big for McKenna because it’s his first D-1 offer.  I’ll have more on this soon.

UPDATE (3:07 PM)-
**The ACC has named Pitt’s Michael Young the conference Player of the Week for the 2nd straight week. Last week, Young averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 3 games. The last Pitt player to win back to back conference player of the week was Sam Clancy back in 1979.

UPDATE (8:00 AM)-

**Another visitor this weekend was Ohio 2018 4-star DE Alex Reigelsperger, a player who’s visited before and someone that Pitt is really recruiting. He sent me a message about the visit.

“Great win, dominant win too, I was glad I got to talk with Coach Narduzzi and Coach Sims some more, and got to show my family around a bit, it was a great time,” said Reigelsperger.
