UPDATE (6:53 PM)-
**New Jersey OL Josh Fedd-Jackson, a player that Pitt’s been recruiting, received an offer today from UCLA. Pitt has cooled on Fedd-Jackson because they’re only taking 1 more lineman and are targeting Ohio’s Thayer Munford. However, if Munford picks Ohio State, could Fedd-Jackson move back into Pitt’s picture?

UPDATE (5:44 PM)-
**Now that we know Pitt will be going to a bowl game, the next question is which bowl will select them? From what I’m hearing, the 2 most likely scenarios are the Pinstripe or the Sun Bowl. A representative was at Heinz Field on Saturday but they could be looking at either Florida State or Miami. If this plays out, I’m sure the Pitt athletic department will be lobbying for a trip to New York City.

(UPDATE 4:53 PM)-
**Two more recruits that will be visiting this weekend for the Syracuse game. 2018 Ringgold running back Brenden Small will be there along with 2018 Canisius HS (Buffalo, NY) WR Paul Woods. According to 247 Sports, Woods (6-1, 165) currently holds an offer from Boston College.

(UPDATE 7:10 AM)-
**Plum 2019 WR Rahmon Hart will be in Philadelphia this weekend for East Carolina vs. Temple. Hart is one of the top players in the state for the Class of 2019.

UPDATE (7:44 AM)-
**Deslin Alexandre is a 247 Sport 3-star defensive end from Deerfield, Florida. Alexandre (6-3, 229) is currently committed to NC State but Pitt is trying to change that.

Alexandre tells me that Coach Tom Sims is recruiting him and likes his physical style, pass rushing ability and how hard he plays.

“He tells me how they need guys like me on his defensive line.”

“NC State is still my #1 school but I’ll check out Pitt and get a feel for them,” said Alexandre.

In fact, the talented defensive end told me that he plans on making an official visit to Pitt sometime in early December. Pitt’s going to have to make an impression with Alexandre quick because he plans on enrolling at his college choice in January.
