UPDATE (6:19 PM)-
**Where will Aliquippa 2018 4-star safety Kwantel Raines be on Saturday?

Raines just told me that he plans on going to Columbus for the Ohio State/Michigan game. It’s interesting that Raines doesn’t have an offer yet for either Ohio State or Michigan. Will that change on Saturday?

UPDATE (5:26  PM)-
**Brian Kelly’s future as Notre Dame’s head coach is up in the air. If he were to be let go, would that effect the decision of any of the local recruits that have committed to Notre Dame?

This afternoon, I talked with North Allegheny 4-star OT Josh Lugg, who was the first local recruit to commit to Kelly this year. I asked him if Kelly were to be fired, would that impact his decision?

“I committed to the University of Notre Dame because of the school and all it’s worth and the offensive line coach. I think Coach Kelly is a great coach and I would love to play for him but ultimately, I didn’t commit to Notre Dame because of just him. I think too many kids commit to schools because of the coaches and they can’t do that because you never know if the coach recruiting you is actually going to be your coach in your 3-5 years there,” said Lugg.

UPDATE (4:50 PM)-
**South Carolina wide receiver Tyler Hamilton was scheduled to visit Pitt this weekend. That visit won’t happen because Hamilton has just committed to Purdue. Hamilton didn’t hold an offer from Pitt but was hoping for one.

UPDATE (4:43 PM)-
**2017 4-star New Jersey defensive tackle Fred Hansard, who’s verbally committed to Florida, will make an official visit to Penn State. I mention this because Hansard is rumored to also be considering a visit to Pitt because of his relationship with Narduzzi. I’m still trying to confirm this with Hansard.

UPDATE (4:38 PM)-
**2018 Indiana defensive end Madison Norris received an offer today from Toledo, which is his fifth offer. Norris, who visited Pitt on Saturday, received an offer from the Panthers earlier in the week.

**Congratulations to Pitt offensive coordinator Matt Canada who’s been nominated for the Broyles Award, which goes to the assistant coach of the year. Back in 2013, Pat Narduzzi won this as Michigan State defensive coordinator.
