UPDATE (7:27 AM)-

**All week we’ve been introducing you to recruits that will be at Heinz Field today for Pitt’s final game. Many of these prospects are juniors and one of those players is Ringgold running back Brenden Small.

“I feel great about the visit. Of all the coaching staffs I’ve talked to, I’m most comfortable with the Pitt staff,” said Small. “I’m visiting in hopes of earning my first offer soon.”

Small has been talking most with RB coach Andre Powell and Coach Bob Junko and would love to get an offer from the hometown school.

“I think there’s a chance maybe after I take my SAT and get a good score. An offer from my hometown would mean a lot to me,” said Small.

“I’ve talked to Coach Powell a few times but I talk to Coach Junko a lot especially because he recruited my dad at Akron so that’s pretty cool. Pitt would like me to play slot and tailback.”

Like many players I’ve talked to, they’ve been impressed with Matt Canada’s offense.

“I like Pitt’s offense and how they use their slot man a lot and how they can put up big numbers on the scoreboard.”

Good luck to Small as he makes his visit to Pitt today.

UPDATE (6:57 AM)-

  • Challenging games today: #13 Auburn at #1 Alabama, #18 West Virginia at Iowa State, #25 Navy at SMU, #22 Utah at #9 Colorado, #15 Florida at #14 Florida State
