The Future Of Robert Foster

Published

on

The name Robert Foster has been mentioned on message boards and social media outlets ever since the day he verbally committed to Nick Saban and Alabama.

After leaving Central Valley as a 5-star recruit, many people predicted stardom for Foster but because of injury that hasn’t happened.

For the last couple of years and in particular the last couple of weeks, rumors have been floating that Foster plans on transferring from Alabama and could wind up at Pitt.

Is that going to happen?

I talked to a source very close to the situation and here’s what he told me about Foster’s future plans.

My source told me that Foster will remain with Alabama through at least April and will participate with them in spring practice. He’ll graduate in June and will then decide his plans for the 2017 season.

After graduating, Foster will sit down with family and close friends to “map out all of his options.” Those options include staying for his last season at Alabama or he could decide to transfer.

If he decides to transfer, schools that could interest him include Pitt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Toledo. If he transfers, that list will no doubt grow because of Foster’s talent.
