“It was a great experience at Pitt yesterday. As a sophomore on my first unofficial visit, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the minute we walked in the door we were treated like VIPs. Several coaches and staff members spent several minutes talking to my parents and me. I really enjoyed being down on the field during warm-ups and having the chance to see many of the players I’ve followed over the past few years. The players were very focused on the game ahead, but they were having fun as well. As it got closer to game time though, you could see the intensity and focus beginning to build,” said Thomas.

“The game itself was unbelievable. I’ve never seen so many big plays in one game. As a QB, I would have had a lot of fun playing in that game. ”

“Going in the locker room after the Pitt victory was very exciting. The facility was very impressive and the players and coaches were really pumped-up. It’s an atmosphere that I would like to be a part of someday,” said Thomas.

“As a sophomore, I’m still in the early stages of the process. I know I have a lot of hard work in front of me. The  experience at Pitt makes me hungry for the chance to play college football at its highest level. Being invited to Pitt was an honor and I thank them for the opportunity. I hope this was just the first of many visits to come.”
