UPDATE (10:00 PM)-
**At the start of this recruiting season, we hold you that we planned on stepping up our recruiting coverage and to this point, I think we’ve lived up to that. I hope you’re enjoying our coverage. We really appreciate the traffic that you’re giving us (record breaking stuff!!)

To this point, we have gotten much advertising to help with expenses so if you’d like to help us out, feel free to go on the home page and hit the “Donate” button. It’s a real simple process and trust me, it would be appreciated.

UPDATE (9:46 PM)-
**Interesting tweet sent out by a big-time recruit.  247 sports 3 star Virginia offensive tackle Mehki Becton showed a picture of himself with Coach Peterson for an in home visit yesterday.

Becton (6-8, 335) holds 25+ offers from schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Penn State, North Carolina and Georgia.

UPDATE  (9:27 PM)-
**Pitt has done something that they don’t do too much and that’s offer a scholarship to a sophomore. However, the player that received the offer is already one of the top sophomores in the entire country.

Tonight, they’ve offered 2019 RB Kenny McIntosh (6-1, 205) from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Pitt joins Alabama, LSU and Miami as teams that have offered McIntosh. Coach Salem was at his facility today and I assume extended the offer.

I’m told that another sophomore that Salem was checking in on was Josh Sanguinetti, a safety that already holds an offer from Pitt.

**Earlier today, we reported that Coach Conklin was visiting Philadelphia cornerback Kenny Bennett, who’s committed to Maryland. Conklin is back with Bennett tonight for an in-home visit.

UPDATE (6:06 PM)-
**2018 Florida DE Jason Mercier (Boynton Beach, Fla.) tells me that Pitt coaches stopped by his school yesterday to check in on him. Mercier already holds an offer from Pitt.  Mercier is teammates with 2017 CB Endrickson Boucher, who received a Pitt offer yesterday.

UPDATE (5:54 PM)-
**Pitt has offered another player in the state of Florida. 2018 wide receiver Dominick Watt (6-2, 195) from Hollywood, Florida received an offer from the Panthers. 247 Sports ranks Watt as a 4-star recruit with offers from Kentucky, West Virginia, NC State, Louisville and Wisconsin.

UPDATE (5:09 PM)-
**College coaches from around the country continue to test the loyalty of Steel Valley 4-star safety and Pitt commit Paris Ford. Today, I got word from a Local Insider that both Michigan and USC were at Steel Valley trying to get Ford to change his mind. My source tells me that despite getting pulled at by many schools, Pitt has nothing to worry about with Ford.

UPDATE (4:49 PM)-
**Coach Narduzzi was in Florida the last couple of days but is back in Western Pennsylvania today. In fact, he met with Pitt 2017 commit Neshannock TE Tyler Sear this afternoon and will be back at his house tonight for an in-home visit.

UPDATE (4:13 PM)-
**Pitt recruiting Insider Harry Psaros reports that he spoke with Florida defensive end Stephon Zayas who told him that he’ll be taking an official visit to Pitt on January 13th. More with Zayas later.

UPDATE (4:08 PM)-
**This afternoon, Indiana reportedly fired head coach Kevin Wilson. I’m mentioning this because it has the potential to impact Pitt. A few months back, 3-star defensive tackle Derrius Mullins gave a verbal commitment to Indiana over a couple of schools including Pitt. Mullins is a player that I know the Pitt coaching staff really liked. Will they try and get back involved?

UPDATE (4:04 PM)-
**DC Josh Conklin was visiting 2 interesting recruits today. Source tells me that one of those players is Philadelphia 3-star CB Kenny Bennett, a player who recently gave a verbal commitment to Maryland.

The other player is 4-star New Jersey CB Harrison Hand (West Cherry Hill, NJ). Hand (5-11, 180) holds offers from Rutgers, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Temple, Maryland, BYU and Boston College.

UPDATE (10:23 AM)-

UPDATE (10:09 AM)-

**Just received a big tip that a Pitt coach is visiting two very big prospects today. I’m going to hold off on releasing names for now but will do so shortly, I don’t want to negatively impact Pitt’s recruiting efforts. I’ll give you a clue though: one of the prospects is committed to a another school and the other prospect is a 4-star player. I’ll update this shortly.

UPDATE (8:27 AM)-

**Just a quick follow-up, Coach Powell will be the coach visiting Todd Sibley today.

UPDATE (8:11)-

**I’ve confirmed that DL Coach Sims will in-home visit tonight with 4-star DT Kyree Campbell, a player that Pitt has been pursing for  the last couple of months

UPDATE (7:34 AM)-

**What visits are planned for today? Pitt will visit 2017 commitment RB Todd Sibley,  Coach Sherman will visit 2017 commitment Darian Street, Coach Peterson is visiting 2017 commitment DE Carson Van Lynn.

UPDATE (12:14 AM)-

**From what I understand, one of the Pitt coaches will visit Miami 2017 cornerback Jamauri ‘Bam” Laguerre. At this point, Laguerre (6-0, 180) doesn’t hold an offer from Pitt but that could always change.

UPDATE (12:05 AM)-

**Congrats to New Castle star Geno Stone as he picked up an offer yesterday from Ball State.

**Ohio 4-star athlete Jarell White told me last night that he plans on making an official visit to Pitt in January. White is hoping to get offered by Pitt soon.

**Defensive coordinator Josh Conklin was in South Carolina yesterday meeting with a pass rushing end. Pitt’s defensive boss met with 3-star 2017 defensive end Chrishawn Wilson (6-6, 247) from Florence, South Carolina. At this point, the only Power 5 offer that Wilson holds is from Rutgers.
