UPDATE (7:46 PM)-
**In what I’d call a surprise, Georgia 3-star wide receiver Connor Heyward gave a verbal commitment tonight to Michigan State. I refer to this as a surprise because it seemed like Heyward was a heavy lean towards Pitt (247 Sports had him 50% Pitt and 50% Ohio State in their crystal ball prediction.) Michigan State recently offered the scholarship and tonight, Heyward accepted the offer.

UPDATE (8:42 AM)-

**Heard back from Florida defensive end Deslin Alexandre and who told me that he will be making an official visit to Pitt this weekend. Yesterday, Alexandre got a visit from Coach Salem. The 3-star recruit is currently committed to NC State.

**North Carolina defensive end Zion DeBose will get a visit today from Coach Sims and also he told me that he’ll make his official visit to Pitt on January 20th.
